Deposit is a small town located in Delaware County, New York, within the United States. According to the 2010 census, the town has a population of 1,712 people. It is situated on the western border of the county and encompasses a village, also known as Deposit. However, the western part of the village is actually located in the nearby town of Sanford, which is in Broome County.
